IIT Bombay and Goldi Solar Private Limited formally signed a Research Collaboration Agreement on 14 May 2026, marking the beginning of a strategic partnership in renewable energy and solar technology. This was formalized by Prof. S. V. Kulkarni, Dean(R&D) at IIT Bombay, and Mr. Dhruv Dholakiya, Director, Goldi Solar Pvt. Ltd. The collaboration will focus on advancing research and innovation in solar modules, particularly in areas such as process optimization, advanced metrology techniques, defect analysis and reduction, and other mutually identified research domains. By combining academic excellence with industry expertise, the partnership aims to address key technological challenges and contribute to the development of efficient and sustainable solar energy solutions. Both institutions look forward to a long-term association that will strengthen indigenous research and contribute meaningfully to India's clean energy mission.
