A virtual meeting of the NCPRE PMC was held on November 22, 2024 to review the progress of NCPRE in the last 6 months. The PMC members are: Dr. Sushil Kumar (Chairman), Prof. A. Subrahmanyam, Shri S. K. Sangal, Shri Sudip Bhattacharya, Dr. Anil Kumar and Shri Arun K. Choudhary. All the members were present at the review meeting. In addition, Dr. A. K. Tripathi, R&D Advisor was also present. Prof. B. G. Fernandes, PI of NCPRE presented an overview and the progress made. This was followed by presentations by the various NCPRE group heads: Prof. Sandeep Anand (Power Electronics), Prof. Narendra Shiradkar (Performance and Reliability), and Profs. Dinesh Kabra and Anil Kottantharayil (Solar Cells). Members of the PMC asked various questions, and had discussions on the work presented. They also offered suggestions on future activities. Overall, the PMC members were satisfied with the progress during the last 6 months. Prof. Fernandes thanked the PMC members and urged that the next meeting of the PMC be held in person at IIT Bombay.
