Under the ambit of NSEFI-BSW project 'Establishing R&D Cooperation and Partnership', a high-powered delegation from German Renewable Energy Institutes visited NCPRE / PoTIC on February 20, 2025. The visit was hosted by Prof. Anil Kottantharayil. Among the German delegates were Mrs. Theresa Anne, Zentrum für Sonnenenergie-und- Wasserstoff-Forschung Baden-Württemberg (ZSW), Dr. Jochen Rentsch, Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems (ISE), Dr. Eva Unger, Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin, Dr. Lejo Koduvelikulathu, ISC Konstanz, Dr. Paul Fassl, KIT Light Technology Institute, Dr. Niklas Martin, FVEE Renewable Research Association, and Mr. Ronald Upmann, BSW-Solar. Mr. Shubhang Parekh and Ms. Catherine Leon from National Solar Energy Federation of India (NSEFI) co-ordinated the visit to IIT Bombay. The delegations visited NCPRE labs and the presentation and discussion sessions were attended by NCPRE / PoTIC faculty. This visit laid the foundation for several mutually beneficial collaboration possibilities.
