NCPRE students participated in the 2024 IEEE Transportation Electrification Conference & Expo in Chicago, USA, from June 19-21, 2024. A paper entitled “De-skewing Algorithm for Accurate Switching Loss Calculation in GaN HEMT” by A. Gangwar, A. Chanekar, S. Anand, and A. Verma was presented by Akash Gangwar. This paper highlighted the reasons for erroneous switching loss estimation. An algorithm is presented for accurate switching loss estimation in the wide-bandgap devices. During the conference, the students met with researchers from various domains and attended insightful talks and tutorials.
