Prof. B. G. Fernandes, PI NCPRE, presented a research paper at the IEEE Energy Conversion Congress and Exposition (ECCE) 2025 in Philadelphia, USA in October 22, 2025. The paper, based on work done at NCPRE focuses on a novel Power Electronic converter interface for medium-voltage DC applications utilizing capacitive-isolated series-stacked dual active bridge. He also presented another paper on multiport power electronics converter for large-scale photovoltaic applications. The work focuses on power balancing in a cascaded H-bridge converter for photovoltaic integration, which does not require any additional control for power balancing and solves the power imbalance in the phases.
