Ions play a major role in performance and stability of perovskite solar cells.in this talk, I will explore the role of ions, and how to reliably estimate their densities and mobilities in CsPbBr3 solar cells. I will show that ion densities typically measured are vastly overestimated because of the effect of organic heterojunction layers and the use of layers that block ions from interacting with organic HTL layers can yield reliable measurements of ion densities. As an alternative, also one can use gold Schottky barriers to collect ions.
