On March 18, 2025, Prof. Sumit Agarwal from the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Colorado School of Mines visited NCPRE. During his visit, he delivered a seminar titled "Fabrication and Long-term Reliability of High Efficiency Monocrystalline Silicon Solar Cells." The session highlighted strategies to improve the efficiency of silicon solar cells via passivating contacts, which serve both as a contact layer and a passivation layer for the crystalline silicon (c-Si) surface. Prof. Agarwal also toured the NCPRE labs, engaging with ongoing research activities.
