IIT Bombay’s annual student technology festival Techfest is one of the largest of such festivals in Asia.

The 29th edition of this festival was organized during December 22-24, 2025, which attracted about 2 lakh students from all over the India and globally. As a part of its outreach programme, NCPRE participates in all such events to inform young students about the importance of solar energy and the R&D work being done at NCPRE.

TechConnect is a part of Techfest, and serves as a dynamic knowledge-exchange platform that bridges academia, industry, and innovation. Through workshops, competitions, and expert interactions, the event promotes technological excellence, collaboration, and future-ready skills among participants. This year too, NCPRE participated in the TechConnect and was visited by many students, and also academicians and industry persons.
